Bermuda

watercolours and acrylics from the Islands of Bermuda

Collage Cards

These original collaged cards are created with vintage magazines in quirky, doundle netendre fashion. I loved the intuitive process and hope you will too. Get one or more to send to someone 'special' ,(they come with an envelope), sit out as a statement or conversation starter, or keep in a drawer for the right moment, these will amuse and scandalize!

Contemporary

I call this group of works 'contemporary'.They are3 a collection of my more minimalist  style pieces and the architecture I love to paint.

Editions

Sometimes my work seems a little more universal so I make reproductions of them to make them more accessible to more people.

Landscapes

The world around us is full of shadow and light, colour and texture, in our structures and environments. I use them to talk about how we look in and out at the world.

larger work

Larger pieces, come are watercolour, some are acrylic on board or stretched canvas

local architecture watercolour

Series of watercolours of our fast disappearing rural structure

Mixed Media

Experimentation is important! I like to take the time to expressively work with different media to create new imagery. For many years I used this skill in theatre to create very large environmental and changeable texture, colour and trompe-l'œil. other tims Ive experiemented with colouring B&W photographs, or create image and emulsion transfers from Polaroid film... collages, and sculptural canvasses...the ideas are endless
