My journey has been a long one, but one full of gratitude to those who have helped me along the way. Although I am self taught I have tried many different approaches. I never tire of the many ways we as humans can express our spirit. Thank you for your interest in my art. It is truly a gift, one that never stops giving me more than I could ever ask for.
Statement
As a Native American artist I have made a conscious decision to paint contemporary Native women as they are in today’s world. I want to challenge conceptions of weakness and victimhood by evoking images of empowerment and strength. The best compliment I can receive is when someone tells me my art speaks to their heart each time they see it.
