I'm off to Winnipeg Manitoba tomorrow to visit my grandfather, and I'm bringing this little gal with me too. She was my grandfather's best little companion and he cherished her dearly. He adopted her from a not so great breeder (she had lived mostly in a cage), and Penny had some behavior issues. She liked to have the odd nip at you, and always kept you on your toes (heaven help you if you had to jump up and answer the phone or door). Even though Penny could convert the most loyal dog lover, she always made my grandfather feel safe and protected.
