The ankle bangle with closing mechanism is from the ethnical group of the Mossi living in central Burkina Faso. Purchased from antiquary Loukman in his small shop in front of the hotel RAN in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Ouagadougou is also the ancient capital of the Mossi Kingdom.
