Tim Johnson
Tim Johnson’s interest in drawing led him to major in art at Reedley Jr College, from where he received an Associate of Arts degree in Fine Arts in 1980. From there, Tim was accepted into California College of Arts and Crafts and majored in graphic design and painting. However, prior to completion life took him down another road and he received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Theology, and then a Master's degree in social work.
Although art was always a part of his life it wasn't until retirement in 2010 that Tim was able to fulfill his passion for painting and drawing. Tim views his journey in art as a continual source of pleasure and self expression. His goal is to convey his unique perception of inner and outer realities, and to connect what is spiritual and universal in our collective human experience.
Tim has won numerous awards for his paintings and continues to expand his resume of collectors. Recent studies include College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Desert Art Center in Palm Springs and the Art Academy of San Diego.
