Statement
I create mixed-media abstract art that dances with organic inspiration. Sweeping movements and small steps, texture, color, collage, and layers — I paint until the dance is complete.
Primarily an intuitive and expressive artist, I am focused on creating restorative, uplifting, and often playful art that resonates with viewers in their personal and professional spaces.
A house and home-studio fire in October of 2020 destroyed much of my earlier work. It was a painful time on many levels! Eventually, though, this opened the door to a fresh start in January of 2022. The joy of being home and in my new studio spills out in my work, and I feel a new freedom as I approach each painting.
