I love creating and working with simple configurations, and then expanding upon them. It is also way I may directly communicate to the viewer. I invite you, as a unique observer of my art , to find your own journey into a new frame of mind. Specific colors are a huge factor in my art, and they need to bounce and play among each other. Some of my artistic influences have been Nancy Crow, Michael James, Judy Mathieson, Buckminster Fuller, and Hilma af Klint, and Antoni Gaudi, to name a few.
"Birthing of Ideas" suggests movement and breaking out of an established form, to create something new. The upward verve and swirled energy emerges outwardly creating a 3D effect and a sense of motion. The choices of accenting with stitching and hand- beading on the surface, work together to enhance the overall design.
