Graphite, china marker and charcoal lay the foundation for this vibrant piece. A palette knife was used to lay down textural fields of color that were then punctuated with bold marks of oil pastel.

This whimsical piece takes me to a beach boardwalk teaming with activity and excitement. I can feel the warm sun on my skin as I enjoy my lemonade on the promenade while people watching.
