One early June evening, my daughters and I watched a spectacular sunset at the village pier on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. A father and son with their nets and buckets, and others crabbing and fishing, formed silhouettes against the gorgeous sky while reflections of lights twinkled on the blue ocean and deep rose hues bounced off the shoreline.
