The twilight glow of the sun flows through the low country tide, with soft gilded reflections against the calming beauty of the marsh.
I am repeatedly drawn to painting this marsh scene because of the tranquility and atmosphere it evokes. Each time I paint it, I place myself there, imagining the teeming wildlife and birds hidden in the reeds and at low tide, and enjoying the glow of the last light of the day. Framed in a beautiful, solid wood frame with a dark gray/smoky black finish with a hint of metallic along the lining.
