Creating in rehearsal with Atlantic String Machine

It was inspiring, energizing and creatively productive to attend rehearsal with Atlantic String Machine. The "paint sketching" (my new term) I did in response to their music I will later distill, scale and transpose into large-scale abstract paintings, combining them with separately created painted sketches I'll do with diverse-ability dancers. The dance space (Studio 2) at Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown provided the perfect venue for us to work together and for the talented Oakar Myint to capture some photos and videos of the creation process.
