An abundance of firsts!
Since my last email (it's been awhile) my artistic practice has been full of a variety of joyful firsts. There's lots to share so I invite you to click on the video and interview links where content already exists.
Thanks for being a part of my art-lovers world— it's great to be connected through art. Wishing you a wonderful winter!

My first artist residency!
An invitation to spend 3-days as artist-in-residence at the Turning the Tides Conference at UPEI was such a unique experience that expanded my artistic practice in so many ways! It included creating a mural-as-documentation, video projections and featured my Shifting Shores Project in the conference Artist Showcase. Here are some highlights:
- Video: Installation of Shifting Shores mural at UPEI Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (1 min)
- CBC INTERVIEW with Sheryl MacKay: Artists and academics gather at UPEI for climate conference (3 min, jump to 2:50)
- Video: Shifting Shores: an interflow of paintings, poetry and music: this was part of the art installation during the conference. With poetry by Laurie Brinklow and Len St-Aubin, and soundscape by composer/musician Heather Taves (10 min)
