Having grown up on an Island, the energy of shorelines has always been a dynamic and emotional source of inspiration for me. The increasing turbulence caused by climate change amplifies the ever-shifting shore-scape.

Turbulence can be hung with the blue part either top or bottom and will appear as an abstracted shoreline either way. The paint is layered and textured. 'Turbulence, no.1' is one half of a diptych. Although they were created together, they hang just as beautifully as stand-alone pieces.

The gallery-depth sides (1.5 inches) are painted so framing is optional. Finished all over with a clear acrylic varnish to protect from fading, dust and UV light. Wired and ready to hang.
