Growing up on an Island, memories of the 'Sun on the Ocean' float in and out of my consciousness especially during the darker, shorter days late in the year.

Each of these mini paintings can stand on its own, or be grouped together.

They are acrylic on canvas-textured paper mounted on gallery-depth (1.5") wood boards. Some of the paint has a metallic lustre. Sides are left to show the natural wood and they are finished all over with a clear acrylic varnish to protect the colours from fading, dust and UV light.
