The Great Blue Heron

This painting was a commission from an Ottawa Citizen Photo by Tony Caldwell by my client. With his permission and great input from the client, the painting was created with blue, turquoise, green and pewter iridescents acrylics. I loved the challenge of inserting the shimmer so that it is only captured when you catch a light sideways. For me, creating art that is meaningful and inspiring to the buyer is a big plus. I loved working with this client, showing her step by step as I painted and created.
