Who doesn’t love a beautiful bunch of flowers gifted to them? I received these gorgeous pink lilies in a bouquet for my birthday, displaying them on our wooden chess table. For me, flowers evoke a sense of serenity and I really enjoy painting subject matter that I emotionally connect to. I was very inspired to paint them, gifting me multiple layers of appreciation. It’s my aim to relay to the viewer a shared experience in the beauty of flowers and to awaken positive emotions of gratitude, love, friendship and memories.
