For 11 minutes, white hot sunlight spills through the clouds in vibrant rays of honey and amber yellows producing rich peach, blush, and coral skies. The montage of unending sunsets questions what symbolism this transitive and fugitive imagery holds. In the context of centuries of exploration and conquest, the perpetual sunset suspends colonial desire within the fantasy of an idea.
