The Adrift print comes from a still of the video Rest Ashore. I presented the video and installation by the same name at Locust Projects in 2020 to examine the similarities between the past and current refugee crises and how they are documented and disseminated in mass media. In addition, the project focuses on the unjustifiable loss of life faced by refugees in the current global migration crisis and how women and children are disproportionately impacted.
