I am a photographer with an ever-growing passion for this extraordinary and nearly limitless art form. My primary focus lies in landscape photography, especially natural landscapes and seascapes, although I occasionally explore cityscapes, as well as other subgenera.

My journey into photography began years ago, sparked by my love for mountaineering. The desire to capture and preserve the breathtaking beauty of those places, and the magical light that often graces them, led me to photography. My aim has always been to transport others to these remarkable locations and share the magic of those fleeting moments.

Having been born and raised in Santander, on the northern coast of Spain—where the Cantabrian Sea meets the foothills of the Cantabrian Mountains—it’s only natural that much of my work focuses on coastal features and mountain peaks. My love for nature also draws me to other non-mountainous natural landscapes. Additionally, my background in civil engineering influences my interest in infrastructure and unique architectural subjects.

For me, photography is deeply personal, meaningful, and fulfilling, with a touch of magic. It allows me to create something beautiful and tangible from the intangible sensations and emotions I experience, freezing those moments in time to relive them endlessly. Beyond the excitement of planning, capturing, and editing photographs to reveal their full potential, I take immense pride and joy in printing my finest work on museum-grade paper with pigment inks, achieving the highest quality and durability.

While I embrace the latest technology at every step of the process, I personally handle each action, from planning to printing, making me not just an artist but also an artisan. Photography, to me, is a magnificent craft that lets me savor my vision and efforts in tangible form, whether on a wall or in a book. It allows me to relive precious memories while offering viewers a chance to experience the beauty, the light, the atmosphere, and even the feeling of a place.
