Two figures in silhouette point to each other in a perfectly formed symmetry of blame. Between the two figures sets a globe with money placed inside. Black silhouetted figures lying prone around the globe seems to suggest that money and power causes death and destruction and each side of the conflict blames each other for the loss of lives.
These figures provide a stark contrast to a softly painted background which is the polar opposite of the subject matter and flatly painted figures. Even the two styles of painting technique suggest conflict or tension. The work is like a Rorschach test which uses inkblots to analyze psychological interpretation to examine a subject personality and emotional function. It is deployed in certain instances to detect underlying thought disorder, especially in patients who want to hide their thinking processes openly. Its creator was Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach and it was widely used in the 1960s
