ICON : Portraits
This series of work I’ve been creating over the years has a point of reference. That point was to mark my stay in this world, my exploration of it, and my relationship to it. I wanted a symbol, an ICON of sorts… I’ve been making this mark for a while, and in the future... it will keep recreating itself. The form (Head figure) is abstracted from my cerebral temperament. The use of the circle is a spiritual aspect of being. This combination is my particular branding and also a practice of spirituality.
