Constitutions (2014-2015) is a project linked to a question focused on the construction and visualization of the law through writing. From there, a signal is generated regarding how historical memory is fixed on a medium to be contrasted later, focusing on the automation process through overwriting by means of a specific mechanism.
Thus, the artwork visualizes a comment on the construction of legal identity in the Colombian context, pointing out an existing relationship from the individual to the collective through the law. In this order of ideas and by means of artifacts of a textual nature, the 16 constitutions that the Colombian State has had are referenced in order to make a point towards elements such as the enunciation, the disappearance of the political subject and the overwriting process through time.
