As my primary focus for the last 18 years has been raising 3 children, my journey into the world of art only began in 2020 during the isolation and upheaval brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. What initially served as a creative escape soon blossomed into a deep-seated passion, becoming the silver lining of a challenging time. Over these last five years, I have transitioned from exploring different techniques to fully embracing my identity as a full-time artist, specialising in large, textured abstracts pieces.

My work is a reflection of my fascination with nature—the endless beauty it offers and the mysteries it holds. I am particularly drawn to the contrast of textures and the rich lustre of gold and silver, which I incorporate heavily into my pieces. These elements not only add depth and dimension but also symbolise the richness of life’s experiences and the unseen forces that shape our existence.

This past year has been a transformative one for me. Through my art, I have found a path to healing, self-discovery, and a heightened sense of awareness. Throwing myself into my creative process has allowed me to confront and embrace my inner journey, leading to significant personal growth. My latest series is a testament to this evolution—each piece a narrative of my journey towards greater consciousness and understanding. It is a visual exploration of how I’ve evolved, depicting the layers of my experiences and the awakening that has come with them.
