Happy Day

Another in this series of pastel abstracts that I have been working on for the past couple of months. Titled "Happy Day", a pastel on 600 grit #Uart paper 9" x 12" unframed using crushed bits of pastels smeared around.

I was going for that fleeting feeling of happiness when a day goes by and nothing crappy happens.

Anyway, I should be wrapping up this series this week, posting several more pieces still for awhile though. I just feel I'm ready to start a new project.
