Growing up in a large garden with grandparents who loved to create and spending time in the local bush established my appreciation and joy for nature.
2024 I retired from a lifetime of commercial and residential interior design and love the detail of the everyday. Shadows created by light, colour, shape, and texture.
Daily I walk the lake shores, hike or ski the high mountains and occasionally drop down through the Bega Valley to Eden where my husband’s family conducted sealing operations in the1800’s while my grandfather’s merchant ships would dock in Twofold Bay in the early 1900’s
The stories and details created by and from historical items, are occasionally inserted into my work, all with a sense of curiosity and almost reverence.
I hope you can join me in this exploration of new pieces, mediums and found objects.
