Las Tres by Jimmy Longoria Image: “Las Tres,” is a 3-foot by 6-foot piece created with 3M Architectural Vinyls and Prismatic Films on acrylic. This artwork explores the complexity and resilience of Latino identity through three stylized faces, rendered with bold shapes and a mix of earthy and bright colors. The sweeping lines and mosaic-like layers bring a sense of movement and connection, reflecting both individuality and shared experience. “Las Tres” was inspired by the challenges Latinos face in corporate leadership, particularly the resistance to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This piece is also an exercise in semi-monochromatic composition, where I pushed the boundaries of color and form to express these ideas more deeply.
