Celeste and I went to stay several nights at Ghost Ranch after we moved to New Mexico. I was thrilled to paint there because I studied Georgia O'Keeffe's work and life there when I was in art school. She was still alive and working here and now I was walking in her footsteps as I explored and painted here. Painted on location in the back of Ghost Ranch in one of the box canyons that dead ends.
