Soon after arriving in New Mexico, Celeste and I were visited by old friends Bill and Dee Bradshaw. They wanted to experience Acoma Sky City and we had not been either. This studio watercolor painting is from a photograph taken on top of the mesa. This is a very mysical space with lots of history of the intersection of Hispanic and Native cultures back in the 1600's. Seeing the people still living in this ancient place is enchanting.
