When searching for images to incorporate into my art, I grab the ones that capture my attention + make me curious. I’m always eager to know more about the story of the people, action, the clothes they have on, the energy they are giving off, the specific culture they may be apart of + more.

There is a rich history, culture + legacy with some many layers when it come to Black cowgirls + Black cowboys in the USA. It’s been a privilege + delight to get lost in, and in some ways found, as I’ve researched.
