Laguna Madre Sunrise captures the first light spilling over the hypersaline waters of the Gulf. Emerging from the artist’s on-site studies during her South Texas Residency, this large-scale work explores renewal and reflection — a continuation of Monroe’s meditations on stillness, movement, and the living energy of water and light.
