Jenny Walton holds a BFA from Central Washington University and an MFA from American University, with studies in both Washington, D.C., and Italy. Her work has been exhibited nationally in New York, Miami, Boston, and Seattle, and internationally in Italy. She has received numerous awards and grants, including an Artistic Fellowship from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, as well as residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, and the Hamilton Princess in Bermuda.

Walton’s work has been featured in several critical publications and exhibition catalogs, and is included in distinguished private collections worldwide. Public collections holding her work include the DC Art Bank and Washingtonia Collection, Inova Schar Cancer Institute, American University, and the University of Maryland.

Her work will also appear in the upcoming collaborative ekphrastic poetry book Boys Behind Glass, with poet Jennifer Sperry Steinorth, to be published by TRP Publishing in Fall 2025.
