Jenny Mead Chatterton’s many layered, mixed-media, abstract art pieces celebrate her love for God and her fascination with nature. Jenny found her love of birds and butterflies, streams and wildflowers from her grandmother in Ohio. Jenny’s fondest memories include traipsing through fields and forests, butterfly net trailing behind her. So began a lifelong observation of the natural world.

In 1975, during the Jesus Movement, Jenny had a spiritual awakening that transformed her life. Her relationship with Christ continues to be central to both her life and art. In early 2000, she found her creative practice to be a method for meditation and deep communion with God. This practice continues to inform her spiritual life.

A mother and grandmother, Jenny lives in Bellingham, WA with her beloved husband and numerous backyard butterflies, birds, and bunnies.
