This was painted in Frenchtown, NJ during the summer solstice, and captures the view looking up Front Street from ArtYard toward FiNNBAR. While I am not a Frenchtown resident, the scene's silent buildings and warmly lit small town street, glowing quietly at night, evoke stillness, nostalgia and a sense of familiarity reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel's “My Little Town.”
