This painting was inspired by a childhood friend whose father grows and displays prize winning roses. Her father's favourite variety of rose is called "Pink Parfait".

I was moved to try a number of different mediums and styles. Accidentally creating a series ! The series will be named and presented to my special friend in celebration of my first original painting commission.

Because this was one option as part of a commissioned work, this original Chalk Pastel on Multimedia paper, was not selected in favour of "Pink Parfait 2". This original of the "Pink Parfait" commission is available for purchase.
