This painting was inspired by a childhood friend whose father grows and displays prize winning roses. Her father's favourite variety of rose is called "Pink Parfait".

I was moved to try a number of different mediums and styles. Accidentally creating a series ! The series will be named and presented to my special friend in celebration of my first original painting commission.

Because this was a commissioned work, the original watercolour selected by my friend was called "Pink Parfait 2". The original of "Pink Parfait 2" is not available. However, high-quality Giclée prints, of the original can be purchased. It is listed separately.
