Thirty years after the surge of Diaspora that found its way to new shores, deep into desperate conflict and mass fleeing at all cost, The United States had long been experiencing a Haitian refugee crisis. By the 1990's a new Haitian Diaspora was emerging. In the United States, Canada and Europe Haitians were rooted and recognizing that the infrastructure of their country wasn't capable of supporting the lifestyle, education interests or sadly, the futures they desired. They wanted more, and they wanted to seek more for their children. Diaspora is a term now utilized for Haitians residing outside of countries like Haiti.
