Water’s Colors 16 x 20 on UART 400 Grit - Pastel
I have long found a fascination with the properties of water, how it can be a mirror one moment and shatter and fracture into all kinds of colors by the introduction of a pebble, a finger gently skimming the surface, a dog chasing a stick into its cool embrace. It can truly be mesmerizing and it was how the water up above would spill into the lower pool, intermingling the colors of the tiles with the light of the sun and the mystery within the deep shadows can be quite soothing and hypnotic allowing one to be lost in worlds not always visible to the human eye, but to the being itself.
