New England Aster 10 x 15 pastel 400 Girt Uart 8 Ply Board
Tour bus, car, tourists spilling out from open door, they come to marvel and adore the changing of the colors that are the New England Autumn. A time when leaves are soon to depart their heavenly perch and flutter down to earthen floor and final decaying rest. But while eyes are looking skyward in wonder, often missed by footed path, reminders of warmer days in red, pink, purple, blue and white. They are final nectar gathering places for bees that ready for colder months. These New England asters and their brethren to the west in New York, though dainty and petite in character, they are as hearty as the rocky, cursed soil into which they root. Despite the challenges of the region, they find life, outstretched beauty, calling to embrace the eye for one last hurrah, I am captive, mesmerized passerby.
