A thousand voices silenced by the sea are yearning to find a way back to hearth and home. As storms build and churn, they gather to ride the currents back to the shore and loved ones. As waves crest, their spirits appear and are found in the foam, rising from the depths, heaving themselves, trying to escape their watery sentence. They know not what they are as they lunge for the shore with outstretched arms, reaching, clawing, trying to wrap themselves around the rocks to pull themselves out, only to have Neptune’s guardians with ropes of kelp and seaweed, wrap their lash upon their bodies and pull them back, down to the depths, back amongst the shipwrecked souls.
