I love shakers! They are a part of my decoration, they remind me of my more youthful years when I worked as a bartender in California. Oh, so much fun that was! I worked at Cano's Waterfront Restaurant at the Newport Bay, people were so nice, especially those who I worked with. The experience to watch the boats leave the bay in the morning to see them later get back in was always entertaining to me. Sunrises and evening events were fun! I think it was truly my most exciting job before Art found me! Later, when I became a painter, I went back to paint the boats, although the restaurant was closed my memories stayed intact.
Nowadays, from time to time, I take my shaker out to mix a Martini that celebrates my life!
