Inspired by an article suggesting that future oceans may appear purple due to climate change, my newest work reflects the tension between beauty and environmental disruption. Recycled from an earlier work in my Standing Still series, this piece layers handmade paper, tea bag packages, dye, and acrylic paint to evoke shifting currents and uncertain tides. It is both a reflection on transformation and a quiet call to awareness.
