Count them, there are really six bridges in this scene. This large painting was created with many imressionistic strokes of various colors to emulate the colors found on the old, worn stones and bridges. One must constantly think value, not color to paint in this manner. The old saying is so true - ‘Value does the work and color gets the credit’.
