Montepulciano is a well-known Medieval and Renaissance hill top town in Tuscany. One climbs to the very top via numerous shops and restaurants. Montepucliano is known worldwide for its wine. I was drawn to this scene by the shadows that visually take you underneath the arches and to the distant village beyond.
