Burford is a wonderful old village in the historical area of the Cotswolds in England. This row of buildings caught my eye because of the shadows they were creating. Wandering on foot is the best way to happen upon these views. Although this is a watercolor, it is painted on a special art media board that accepts watercolor and thus, creates its own texture that is slightly different than watercolor. The painting is finished with an archival varnish so that it can be safely displayed without the use of glass or a mat.
