My first ever art quilt!
Inspired by the Aspen trees I saw in Colorado when I spent quite a lot of time there in the '80's.
Originally the markings on the trunk where done in fabric pastels -I didn't know how else to do them!
When this quilt got added to the extended exhibition I just had to stitch them, but I was careful not to add extra details as I wanted to preserve the original design of the quilt.
