Oil painting on W&N gallery stretched canvas. Standard practices used for painting. Sides are painted as an extension of the front. Dirt color is tan, woodland and rock shadows carry a slight purple with deep shading accenting red.

Inspirations were many visits to this Colorado high elevation area and hiking this trail. My photographs do not entirely represent this landscape.
