This little watercolor painting was created en plein air (in the open air) at the edge of a forest. It presents a winter day with an opaque sky and the curiously colorful winter foliage if you pay attention and use your imagination. Painted on Arches #140 archival paper. This piece was exhibited in the "Best of Ohio Plein Art Art," at the columbus Museum of Art, Columbus Ohio.
