Sonjia is a tribute to the Ukraine. The center represents the 3 mountain ranges of Ukraine, some of the seeds are missing, representative of the conflict. Sonjia means sunflower, the national flower of Ukraine, a symbol of peace and resilience. Sonjia is cast in Iron and then sits on a base created using the lost wax process, and cast in Bronze.
