Dad's Tools was created on a copy of my dads business ledger, printed on watercolor paper and then I drew and painted with watercolor the tools of dads trade. Dad was jeweler of the highest quality and a superb craftsmen. This project allowed me to combine my dads art with mine, using his ledger as my background with his thumbnail sketches of his art along with mine.
