Black metal is joined together to create geometry that displays the instructions on how to fold a US flag. The final step is lit up with lights, showing the flag’s colors at the resting position. The work is hung from the wall with coat hooks.

“Folded Flag” questions notions of nationalism and identity. It shows the flag folded, what one does to store it and put it away, and at the same time hanging from the wall from coat hooks. Additionally, the flag is only suggested, it is created through outlines of metal and lights, and what is shown is the method to putting it away."
